| We are taking a new approach to sponsorship this year. Following are large and small ticket items that we require to operate the Shelter and keep the dogs healthy and happy. You can choose to provide the item to the Shelter or donate the money for us to purchase them. It is up to you! |
STORAGE SHED - Because of location in a park, we are unable to build
storage areas for supplies. We must use sheds that can be taken apart. Ideally
we need 3 of these: 1 for dry/wet food and supplies, 1 for volunteer center with
waterless toilet, 1 for recovery room for injured dogs.

RESCUE VEHICLE - Our little hatchback was never suitable for this work but
it was all we had. Now it is missing mirrors, crunched on the side, incredibly
stinky, and to small to safely transport injured dogs. Our back-up van has no
insurance and the stick-shifter is broke and not drivable. We desperately need a
vehicle that can safely transport injured dogs and a caretaker with medical
supplies at the same time. Plus we can use this vehicle for Community
Education and Outreach, attending bazaars and picking up donations.

Shelter knows that we have no bathroom and no
plumbing to install one. This toilet is a waterless
compostable one that is used for camping and cabins
with no running water.

PRESSURE WASHER - At least twice a year we
must pressure wash the whole shelter and disinfect it
against virus, bacteria, and fleas/ticks. Hand
scrubbing is not effective against these problems. Our
pressure washer broke and is not fixable.

VARIOUS MEDICINES AND SUPPLIES - Each month we go through
countless boxes of Zylapour (at least 30), Vibramycin, Augmentin, syringes, IV
bags of saline, bandages, tape, head cones, etc.

there are injured dogs or post-surgery rehabs.
