Thank you for supporting our Team SAPT in this years’ WagAThon! We are a group of volunteers who
believe in changing the future of stray dogs by changing the mentality of our future citizens about dogs
and what responsible dog ownership is. To this end, we visit public and private schools accompanied by
our trained cross-breed dogs to do just that: teach children of all ages how to treat dogs, strays or their
own dogs. We also voluntarily visit disabled children and adults for the merits of pet-assisted therapy.
Finally, we have a small adoption program which also includes veterinary benefits (spaying/neutering,
micro-chipping, etc) and follow-up training assistance and advice by an experienced dog training
instructor, the latter one, for the life of the adopted dog.
Your donation will help us do better with all of the above but most of all, because the goal of 1,000€ is
not such a high amount, what will count the most will not be the amount of money donated per se but
rather, the large number of people amongst you who will donate, proving to us that in this effort, you are
all with us and believe in our cause!
Please also consider volunteering with SAPT Hellas! We always need help with translations from Greek
to English, foster care, secretarial work etc.
