an abandoned hunting dog who has
survived forced breeding, breast
cancer, and abuse. She is wonderful
and warm, a medium sized fatty pants
who just needs to be loved.

This dog was found with a broken
back leg and was a challenge to
catch! He is wary of people and will
need extra love from our volunteers
and lots of exercise before he is ready
for adoption.

This old lady could be Lakis' taverna buddy,
same smoky bark and robust souvlaki belly!
She tries to put up a tough exterior but she
isn't going anywhere fast. We released her
more than 6 times and each time she came
back within an hour!

This girl was rescued from the Attiki Odos
years ago, diagnosed with a large brain tumor
and given a few months to live. She is still
here and loving her life at the shelter. She is
in no pain and would greatly benefit from a
loving home with specialized attention.

and starved before finding us. He is
very loving and really wants to play.
He is social with other dogs and still
has that goofy puppy look in his eyes!

with one pill each morning. Perfect walker,

She was brought in after being run
over by a car. She did not hear it and
was sleeping behind. Has a funny tail

her medicine and is very vibrant and alive.

This guy was lucky enough to be adopted after
over a year in the shelter but was returned
after 3 months.His front leg has a pin in it due
to surgery for atrophy from being caged so
long. Walking helps strengthen him.

Virginia is a female old dog. She
must be around 10 years old. She
came to the shelter with a big hernia
in her stomach. She has been
operated and now she is fine. She is
the sweetest old lady with a cute face
and floppy long ears. Very quite and
friendly. She is looking for a quiet
yard to rest.

This old guy is partially deaf and a little blind.
His bark sounds like he has been in the
taverna smoking his whole life. He is healthy,
just old. He likes to walk, chase cats while
laying down, and needs a good brushing every
once in a while.

It has taken a year for her to feel
comfortable outside a cage. An
abandoned hunting dog, she missing
half her teeth due to violence. She
loves walking!

This guy is old and sometimes
unpredictable. A strong alpha male
and would make an excellent guard
dog in garden. Not a house dog at
this point and does not travel in cars.

Max used to live behind the park at a gas
station. His love for chasing cars ended
breaking his leg. His wound would not close so
his back right leg had to be amputated. He
stayed at the vets for months but is at the
shelter now for recovery and adoption.
