Katy was found in early October, literally in the brink of death. Ematiated and sick, she could barely stand on her feet.
She has now gained some weight, she is undergoing all necessary treatments, and we can say for sure that her past ordeal is finally behind her!

She has a very tender and calm demeanor. Always happy to meet new people at the shelter or out on her walks, she bonds quickly and deeply with all the people that take care of her. She makes sure that she shows the volunteers how appreciative she is of their care and attention.

She is really a joy to be around and would be a great addition to a loving family.

She is medium to low energy (maybe when she completely re-gains her strenght, she may also re-gain back some of her energy but she won’t be high energy for sure) and would be a great cuddle-buddy.
She enjoys her walks and is super easy to handle on the leash.

Although she adores people, she doesn’t seem to enjoy the company of dogs so we feel that she would do best as the only pet in her new home.
She is not aggressive while passing by other dogs while on walks, and she is polite with the dogs on neighboring kennels, she just does not seem to want closer encounters with them.

All the volunteers have fallen in love with this sweet-natured girl, we just hope that her new family is right around the corner, ready to fall in love with her too!

She will be given spayed, vaccinated, with adoption contract, vaccination book and micro chipped.
